Guest Musician: Billy Forrester

Billy's entry into music was through classical guitar lessons at age 9; he has been performing professionally since his teens. In the late 70's he moved to the Pacific Northwest, where he became involved in the world of gospel music. He was one of the founding parents of the Suquamish acoustic jam, along with Tania Opland and Susan Welch. He and Susan, as the folk duo Dusty Rose, recorded the album Eleven Eleven. Billy can be found every Sunday night at the Magnolia Treehouse Lounge in Poulsbo, where he organizes and hosts the open mic and songwriter showcase.
